GSA 536 - Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management

This course covers both fundamental investment analysis and modern portfolio theory. The students examine the organization and functions of securities markets, key aspects of investment and portfolio theory, the valuation of debt and equity securities, and the nature of derivatives. Students will analyze companies and industries and structure and manage a portfolio. 


Prerequisites:
Prerequisite: GSA 513 Financial Management or permission of instructor.

Credits: 3 cr.
