RS 325 - Buddhism The course explores the religious and philosophical foundations of Hinayana (Theravada) and Mahayana Buddhism. Buddhist historical traditions and spirituality are also considered. Students investigate in some depth a major religious school of thought and practice in India, China, Japan or Tibet and present the results of their research in a formal paper.
Credits: 4
Prerequisites/Restrictions: One 100-level Religious Studies course.
