GSL 600 - Teaching Vocabulary in ESOLThis course presents an overview of vocabulary acquisition and examines the principles and procedures of teaching vocabulary in the English language classroom. Topics include explicit and implicit vocabulary learning, approaches to developing language proficiency, and assessment of vocabulary knowledge. A practical experience component and a course project develop both theoretical and practical aspects of the course.
Credits: 3 cr.
