BU 218 - Analytics and Operations

This course allows students to learn the importance of business analytics and operation management in the value-adding processes that create competitive advantage. They will use excel-based descriptive, predictive and prescriptive tools to analyze operational data and make fact-based business decisions. Students will also be required to conduct an operation management-based project.

Prerequisites: Pre-reqs: MA 120 (or any of the stats), (BU 103 or BU 113), (AC 141 or BU 115), AC 143, BU 214; BU majors only; JR/SR only
